I would like to enter the Mechanical Design Contest, but I am unsure as to whether the specific design I have in mind will be applicable to the category of mechanical parts (it deals with music, but as a final usable piece). I don’t want to upload my design to the contest, only to discover later that a new contest comes up that is more applicable to my design to which I cannot submit my design (having already submitted it for this contest). I say this because the current contest restricts old submissions.
