Electric Filament

Looks like a great step in the right direction for being able to produce 3D printed products with more diverse functionality than right now.

I’d love to have some time to play around with this stuff. As an electrical engineer, I have worked with all sorts of circuits but the prototyping of the cases and mechanicals was always a pain in the ass. I can just imagine how much time something like this would have saved me when I was working with embedded microcontrollers.

What would you print if you had some conductive filament?

Looks like there is another push to get 3D printing and electronics working together. There is a new kickstarter campaign that allows you to embed electronics in your print as you do it.
