how can a small little accessory get 8 votes while more other complicated designs get 1 or 0 votes. i think friends of contestants are have ways of getting more votes. like friends or multiple accounts or … this needs to be looked into and changed as it is not fair or show true votes. maybe only judges should vote in contests. cuz prizes are on the line here.

Voting is more of a way for the community to show their support for a particular design! It does not affect a design’s chances of winning. The judging does not count the number of likes/downloads, etc.
For the OpenRC contest, this will be based on creativity (40 points), technical excellence (40 points), and presentation (20 points).
