How about a "Tip the desgner" button?

Just a thought - I don’t really want to charge people - but getting/giving the odd little tip for a design is nice… I’ve seen it on other sites now.

Site feature request: Tipping System

Not a how to question, but a site feature request/ recommendation. Could you guys maybe implement into the pinshape site a tipping system? There are some really nice designs on the website that designers are giving away for free that I would have definitely paid for. Would be nice to give these designers a $1 or more tip in appreciation.

This sounds like a great idea. 3d printing has such an incredible open source-ness about it since the RepRap project took off, I feel bad even if I made a really nice file charging for it. It would be more fun to have a suggested donation for content.
